WINTER IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Our little angel, Hannah, is enjoying her first time in the snow. We rented a house at Big Bear Lake, which is in the San Bernadino Mountains. She loved playing in what was left of the white wonderland.

Little dude couldn't quite enjoy the snow as much as his sister, but Hunter did enjoy his time hanging out in the cabin.

A rare photo opportunity with Mom...

One of Hannah's Lego masterpieces. She likes to see if she can use all of the Legos we own in one gigantic structure.

Armed and ready to attack a cinnamon roll...

This is one of Hunter's new spots to hang out. He rolls himself under the Christmas tree and then plays with whatever he can get his hands on.

The big boy is now trying out sippy cups. This is first time enjoying watered down juice.

Stephen took Hannah to The Alpine Slide, a place where you pay a one time fee and you can play all day in the snow. She and Stephen sledded for the majority of the day.

I am working on getting a video to work on here so you can all see the fun...

Birthdays and Halloween

Stephen and Hunter spending some quality time together.

Hannah enjoying Mommy's birthday cake. She enjoyed blowing out the candle, too.

The family at Bates Nut Farm. We forgot to ask someone to take a picture of all four of us.

This goat was looking for food. Luckily, Hunter and I stayed just out of reach.

Hannah is enjoying the goats. What a little farmer.

Here is Hannah getting ready for an evening walk.

The "kids" dressed up as a cat, a hockey player, and a baby with a Mickey hat on.

Hannah enjoying the fruits of her labor.

Hunter's Halloween outfit. It looks like his upper body and lower body aren't attached. Spooky!

My attempt at a cat jack-o-lantern.

September Fun

Hannah hanging out with her favorite animal...

Hannah enjoys spending time with Hunter. She is especially helpful when it comes to showing him how to use his toys. He loves to watch her and is most happy when she is near him.

Enjoying some "mat time".

Hunter was letting me try on new outfits. I think he looks quite handsome in his Tigger shirt and shorts.

Hunter loves to try and stand even though he is only 14 weeks old. Stephen actually got Hunter to balance on his own for a few seconds. Hunter would rather sit up or stand all of the time. Unfortunately, he doesn't get that his muscles aren't quite strong enough yet.

Hannah and her cousin, Joshua, spent the day at the zoo. Here they are enjoying the brass hippo in Tiger River.

Hannah's first day of preschool

Hannah is a preschooler at my school, Kumeyaay Elementary. It was her first day of school today and she was a trooper.

How They Grow...

My Super Family!

Hunter is 11 weeks old and growing quite rapidly. Here he is hanging out in his chair.

Hannah is a wonderful big sister. She loves to hold Hunter's hand.

Lazy day.

Hannah is such a big girl.

Looking handsome in his shark shirt. Thanks Uncle Paul and Aunt Michelle.

Our kids love to read together.

No doubt that these two are sister and brother.

Summer With the Kids

Here is Hunter relaxing on his play mat after an evening bath. He seems to really enjoy water, which we like since his sister will be dragging him to the beach every day when they are old enough to go together.

Had to include this one... it looks like one of those tv commercials that makes you sentimental.

We took the kids to Sea World. This is quite possibly Hannah's favorite place to go in San Diego right now. She was all fired up to see the Sesame Street characters until she got up close. Furry creatures up close can be intimidating.

Our kids hanging out on the floor on a sunny afternoon.

I caught Hunter smiling the other day. He loves to smile, especially when he sees Hannah.

Birthday Pancakes!

A satisfied pancake eater.

Hannah had her birthday party and we rented the bounce castle again. She loves it. We should probably just invest in one and leave it up year round.

Her stylish dismount from the bounce castle...
