Thanksgiving Week

Hannah likes saying, "Cheese" to the camera when we take pictures. You'll notice she doesn't always have both eyes open.

Hannah is enjoying her apple cider while we take turns in the buffet line at 94th Aero Squadron. We went to this airplane-themed restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner.

Here we are in the 80 degree weather, enjoying our dinner.

Hannah is getting out some energy after being a good girl and sitting in her chair for over 30 minutes. She loved running up and down the hillside at the back of the restaurant.

We got annual passes for Sea World and took Hannah last week. She and Dad are on one of the little kid rides at Sesame Street's Bay of Play. It is a play area designed for little kids when they need to get out energy after looking at all of the great ocean animals. She really loved the beluga whales and the sharks.

Our Little Lady

Hannah loves her new moose pajamas. She likes to show them off as she runs by us.

Here is the best part of the pajamas!

Hannah still loves to color. Forunately, she keeps them on paper, most of the time.

We went to Mission Trails Regional Park today. It is an open space with lots of trails to enjoy on foot, bike, or horse. We bought Hannah her own Camelback after she learned how to use one in Big Bear. She is quite the hiker.

Here is our proud trailblazer!

Six Weeks Worth Of Hannah

Hannah and Dad are playing airplane. The two of them are silly together.

Hannah is going to the Santee Rec Center 2yr-old preschool class on M/W/F. This is a picture of her on her first day. She is getting really good at routines and interacting with the other children.

Hannah and her preschool class went to Santee City Hall for trick-or-treating today. As you can see, our little bumble bee was buzzing.

Here is our bee smiling for Dad.

Here is her preschool class and the 3yr-old class posing for a photo shoot.

So Proud!

Hannah tried out the Balboa Park Merry-Go-Round for the first time. She has always been wary of it because it goes fairly fast for a carousel. She is riding a deer, her animal of choice right now.

We took Hannah apple picking up near Julian a couple of weeks ago. She enjoyed running up and down the aisles and occasionally picked up a quality apple for us to put in our bag. I ended up making an apple pie with the approximately 8 pounds of apples Hannah chose that afternoon.

Hannah's new favorite hobby is coloring. She can spend almost an hour relaxing with her markers and crayons. We are big fans of this!

We are very proud of our little girl. She is starting to want to sit on the potty. We try as much as we can to encourage her to use either this one or the big potty with a little seat on it.

We are also making sure she understands the fine art of "private library time".

More Summer Fun

We took Hannah RV'ing at Big Bear Lake. She loves the outdoors. One day, she even hiked 1/2 mile all by herself!

Our crazy kid!

Our Trip To St. Louis

Hannah is running down a hill on the side of her uncle's house. She liked running up and down it over and over.

Hannah had some birthday presents from her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. As you can see, she was excited to open them.

Here is Hannah passed out after a fun morning with her grandma, aunts, and cousins. We went to see the sights and sounds of downtown St. Louis while she enjoyed this nap.

Hannah and her cousin, Joshua, enjoyed watching movies together.

Stephen's dad, Stephen, and I are standing at the foot of the Arch and the Mississippi River. A very awesome place.

Daddy and Hannah are enjoying themselves in the pool. You might think Hannah would be scared of something like this, she actually loves it and asks to get thrown up over and over.

Here is the mellow side of hanging in the pool.

Mmmmm...pizza...

Play!

Hannah has been spending time with her friend, Harper. They are learning to play together, which is very exciting for both of them. Hannah and Harper and good at sharing, especially when it comes to eating lunch.

Hannah was helping Nana set the table for dinner. We spent the night in the motorhome to test out how well she would do in a different bed. She did very well.

Summer Time At The Zoo

Hannah was extremely pleased to be able to sit on top of this prehistoric elephant. At the Elephant Odyssey, the new exhibit at the zoo, there is a section of animal statues. They are animals that existed on the North American continent many years ago.

One of Hannah's favorite activities at the zoo is to ride the skyfari. She loves to look around at the exhibits as we pass over them. At certain points you can see the pandas and the gorillas.

Our future dentist was thorough in checking the teeth of this large prehistoric cat.

Someone got her learner's permit! Okay, maybe not, but we do like Hannah's choice in friends. She kept patting the shotgun passenger on the head, reassuring him that she is a careful driver.

Hannah is very concerned about the nutritional intake of the goats in the petting zoo. She makes sure that the goat she has chosen gets plenty of hay to eat. The specially chosen goat is extremely pleased to have such care and attention.

Getting Bigger All The Time

Last Wednesday, we went to the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball game. They are the Single-A affiliate of the Padres. As you can see, we had pretty good seats. Hannah loved being close to the action. She ate a pretzel, clapped a great deal, and generally had a great time. The only part she didn't like was the mascot, Thunder. She is wary of large, furry animals that ride up on quads and then jump off at home plate and dance to loud music.

Stephen took Hannah to Del Mar today. There is a new playground above the beach on the cliffs by the train station. He said it was a beautifully clear morning.

Hannah loves to go to the park above Miramar Lake with Nana and Papa. One of her passions is to swing for a considerable stretch of time. It has a lovely view of the lake and on a clear day, you can see all the way to the ocean.

Here is a typical breakfast for Hannah. She loves pancakes, waffles, french toast, and practically any other sweet breakfast treat. This pancake is as big as her head, but she attacked it quite well.

Typical Days With Hannah

Here is our very well fed young lady relaxing after dinner. As you can see by her shirt, she does not always hit her target when she is in a feeding frenzy. She does do well with a spoon and a fork.

We took down the gate at the top of the stairs because Hannah has learned how to safely go up and down the stairs. She is very proud of herself, as you can see here.

Hannah has learned to cook! Just kidding. She does like to pretend to clean out the kitchen and cook items on the stove top.

Daddy and Hannah are relaxing on a "May Gray" afternoon. She has become quite the snuggler.
